This season....

Peace and blessings to all! I am Pink Cookies. I was named Pink by my mother and my father's last name is Cookies. I am so excited to be affored the opportunity to explore what this season has in store for me. It looks intentional, graceful and radiating beauty from the gravity of my existence. I walk into this season eager to learn and enjoy all that it has to offer! I accept everything in abundance and pouring into those that may lack. I excuberbate with confidence, love and light. I enjoy excercising in my spare time, Pilates classes and Yoga. I love reading, learning and journaling. Fun fact, I spend nearly two hours in the bath, this is where I find most of my clarity and I dim the lights with just a flicker of my favorite candle, yes it smells like a warm hug and a kiss of cashmere! When I bake cookies, I add pink food dye-to give an visual representaion of my name! So cool, I know! Oh I forgot to mention, meditatating and reflecting daily on all of my blessings are how I end each and everyday.

By utilizing the Internet Safety and Security features, I am able to customize my internet settings for my protection and peace of mind. This is why I specifically chose Internet Safety and Security as my skill of choice. I have used this skill outside of IS101, because it sets the standard for ensuring that my laptop and internet is safe and secure. I have always been conscious when using any device to open, login or access my personal information. For example, anytime I use a public computer or device, I always clear my history, data when I am finished. I actually do this on my own device from time to time. Especially with hacking and data breaches being at an all time high, this gives me peace of mind. I am able to go into my internet settings and decide which browser I do or do not want to share cookies with. I am able to customize my settings to what aligns with my usage for each website including but not limited to passwords, data, cookies and any other pertinent information.

  1. You make the cookies you bake pink too? Okay :-)

Excellent digital hygiene of always clearing your history and data when you are finished using a public computer and even your own computer from time to time!

What's even better is that you go into your Internet Settings and decide which browser you do or do not want to share cookies with. Hmm... are these cookies pink? ;-p

Welcome to IS101-3210, Fall 2025, Pink Cookies ^_^

  2. Peace and blessings to you, Pink! Very interesting name, I’m loving it. Pink, you seem to have some peaceful energy, and I can appreciate that because it’s hard to find that in the modern world today. I also enjoy working out and reading. I’m reading a book now called “Becoming Supernatural” by Dr. Joe Dipenza. It’s about training your brain chemistry and accessing levels of awareness, and I have to say it’s been very engaging. I like the idea of your baked cookies and pink dye, clever. I may need to take a page out of your book and be more conscious when I use public computers. Very nice blog, Pink, and it was nice meeting you!

    1. I appreciate that, in today's world it is seldom by far! Coincidentally, I had started reading that book at the beginning of this semester, and I became addicted to his studies, practices, and concepts. Allying some of my own, I developed a peace that was organic and healing. Definitely, by taking a conscious effort to protect your information, you can benefit in more ways than one.

  6. Hi Pink, what a lovely name you have. I find that being willing to mess with settings as opposed to sticking with the default ones is a very good practice.

  7. Hello Pink, what would you say is your favorite book or genre? I love romance. From the way you write, it seems like you write creatively as well. I was impressed with how you wrote your blog.

    1. Thank you; I truly have a love for writing. When I was younger, my mom would send me to school with money for the Scholastic book fair, and I would buy books since third grade. Ahh, definitely nonfiction, autobiographies, and urban stories. Too many good books; to name a few of my favorites, Becoming Bulletproof by Evy Pompourous. The Coldest Winter Ever by Sister Souljah, The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck by Mark Manson, Tears of a Tiger by Sharon M. Draper, and Good Energy by Casey Means, MD.

  11. Great post, Pink. This is really great to see your passion for all things pink, and who knows, maybe you can paint your car pink as well. Definitely using the safety features can help a lot with which websites you do or don't trust.
